          • Researched on tasking processes that would improve the rapid response capability of the SSTL-DMC satellites constellation to be able to respond in event of disasters. On the basis of simulations using satellite tools Communication Blackout Time (CBT) was arrived at, and defined. In addition, I worked on the Ground Segment IP network designs for efficient and assured Space/Ground satellite data sharing and multicasting opportunities. Recommendations were consulted by at least one commercial satellite imagery company in the wake of the South-East Asia Tsunami disaster.
