Developed applications knowledge on additive laser marking technology by conducting series of laboratory experiments, observing/documenting results, analyzing data, writing technical papers that summarize the conclusions.
Engineered a convenient cost-effective microscope-setup for reading/decoding small infoglyphs. Invented a novel method for application of thin thermal ink transfer tapes that opens up direct route for their manufacturability.
Set-up and managed a state of the art application lab for developing and improving additive laser marking technology.
Managed multiple applications engineering projects simultaneously through multitasking and effective time management.
Composed a variety of technical reports at various levels of communications tailored for specific customer sophistication.
Collaborated with the Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as the Director of Business Operations in developing a new website for the company.
Trained and inspired potential customers and professionals in the sales force the use of the novel technology of additive laser marking by convincingly conveying the underlying principles.

Graduate Researcher, Department of Chemistry, Univ. of CA, Irvine
Irvine, CA
Designed and developed instrumentation for surface enhanced Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) spectroscopy/imaging of single molecules. This includes coupled high rep rate noncollinear OPA’s delivering nearly transform-limited sub-30fs visible pulses and a frequency resolved optical gating (FROG) setup for ultrafast pulse characterization.
Developed software for simultaneous time and frequency resolved data acquisition, processing and nonlinear fitting within the LabView environment.
Designed and constructed a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, which allowed the imaging of turbulent profile of a superfluid He microjet.
Developed techniques and numerical models for data analysis using Mathematica and Origin Lab software.
Conducted experimental and theoretical studies of photodynamics in carbon nanotubes, and metal nanoparticles; as well as various thermo-, opto-, electro-mechanical phenomena in liquid crystals and isotropic fluids.
